Mineral County 4-H Shooting Sports Kids

4-H at Deer Creek Range

The Mineral County 4‑H shooting sports kids proudly represented their club at a recent match held at the Deer Creek Range, hosted by the Missoula County crew, who put on a fantastic event. Under the leadership of Rusty Parkin, the youth brought home an impressive total of five gold medals, five silver medals, and one High Point award. Jo Kelly (#347) earned two golds, one silver, and the High Point honor, while Hawkins Fry (#341) added a gold and a silver. Rye Spence (#337) captured two silver medals, and Kanyon Lofts (#306) took home a gold medal shooting Primitive. Bess Baker (#315) also made her mark with strong performance in Unlimited. It was a great showing of skill, sportsmanship, and hard work from these Mineral County shooters.
