About the Mineral County Shooting Sports Association

OUR MISSION
The mission of the Mineral County Shooting Sports Association (MCSSA) is to support shooting sports programs throughout Mineral County and to assist in the acquisition, development, and management of a public shooting sports facility.
OUR PURPOSE
The primary purpose of MCSSA is to provide fundraising, advocacy, and operational support to youth and adult shooting sports programs in Mineral County. We work to strengthen and grow local opportunities by:

Generating and managing funds for youth‑based shooting sports programs.

Promoting understanding of the educational value and community impact of shooting sports.

Securing funding for the acquisition and management of a public shooting sports facility in Mineral County.
BOARD MEMBERS
This dedicated group of sportsmen and women works to expand shooting sports opportunities for all ages in Mineral County. They have supported the local 4‑H Shooting Club and community programs for many years.

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH 4‑H
MCSSA is proud to support the Mineral County 4‑H Shooting Sports Program, providing safe, educational opportunities for youth to learn marksmanship, firearm safety, responsibility, and confidence.
Our board members work closely with 4‑H leaders to offer training, equipment, and range access for local youth throughout the year.
